Remembrance Day at Prescot

The Annual Remembrance Day Service took place at Prescot War Memorial in the grounds of the Prescot Parish Church, Prescot. Merseyside on Sunday 9th November 2014.
The ceremony was attended by all the Local Civic heads together with representatives of the British Legion, Armed forces, Police, Ambulance and Fire Service, together with cadets and other youth organisations and the freemasons. With several hundred people attending the open air service on a bright, cold, sunny morning. It was a moving experience standing for 2 minutes in complete silence in memory of all those that had made the ultimate sacrifice.
The St Helens and Prescot Group of Lodges laid a wreath on behalf of the Craft lodges and APGM Michael Clarke accompanied by W. Bro’s David Fairclough, Jim Weaver and David Richards laid wreaths on behalf of the Mark Province of West Lancashire, Queensway Lodge and the St Helens and Prescot group of Mark Lodges.
